Bibliography

My bookcase at Dad's.

My bookshelf at Dad’s house. Built it myself, woo hoo!

I learn most comfortably from reading. I’m one of those people who won’t use any new toy until I’ve read the complete instruction manual! After I’ve read about and feel introduced to a new topic, I’ll use it, play with it, expand on it. So, bear with me as I explore many new, largely intuitive topics in search of my inner self and spirituality.

I feel compelled to read a lot about each new fascinating topic, looking for internal resonance, and comparing resources until I see enough agreement and compatibilities that I can trust in the emerging truth. As I keep saying, because it keeps surprising me,

Library in Fairbanks

First arrangement of my books in Fairbanks. THEY got unpacked within days of arrival! I have my priorities.

A Course in Miracles, astrology, communing with Mother Nature, dream interpretation, meditation, numerology, readings about Soul School, and tarot are all compatible and reinforce each other. That cannot be mere coincidence. And through my recent studies, I see myself becoming a kinder person who may finally find a way to contribute to society and justify my life.

I’m going to be unconventional, sorry, but I refer more to Titles than to authors, so I’m going to alphabetize by title—except for multiple titles by the same author. For example, I’m going to start with the three Caroline Myss books, which are all about finding one’s most defining archetypes.

  1. Hi aunt Ginny. First, sorry to hear about your dad. I’m sure it’s mixed feelings for you as I believe he was sick a long time. My one question for you regarding all these books you you’ve read, have you ever read the bible? I don’t see it listed.

    • Hi Todd. You gave my blog’s first comment! Thank you! Yes, I have read the New Testament–twice, I think, in high school and college. It is a wonderful book, full of goodness and guidance, and I can understand how and why it is so integral to American culture. My growing interest in spirituality is craving more universal, less power-political, CORE Truths shared by multiple “avatars” of organized religions, such as Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Mohammad. I want more truth and less distracting trappings. That’s not very eloquent, sorry. I’m just getting started and having a good time pursuing new directions as a whole new world opens up.
